Robin Rimmer
A design specialist with a focus on cabinetry for kitchens and baths, Robin has more than 20 years of experience in the remodeling and new construction industry, and treats every job as a work of art. She says, "The kitchen is now the heart of the home, and working with kitchens is like creating pieces of furniture for the them!"
Robin says that there have been many changes in her 20 years in the industry. "The customer is more knowledgeable and involved with their project. They are more educated about home improvement and know what they want when they come in the door, this makes it easy for us to partner with them on their project and deliver a design that everyone loves."
Ginny Osborne
With more than 23 years in the industry, Ginny has worked for four different major companies that focus on interior design. The Akron native took appropriate design classes at Akron University before embarking on her career.
Ginny believes that she and her fellow designers can offer the customer much more than the competition. "I think our knowledge of construction of cabinets helps to offer a complete package. We don't just stop at cabinets. We do floors, wall treatments, etc., where everything matches and flows. Our beautiful showroom makes it easy to show them what we have to offer."
Steve Fedder
He has been working in the design industry for about 12 years, but believes his early work in the construction business helps give him a solid advantage. Steve attended the University of Akron, but adds, "I worked for a custom builder as a project manager while attending college and received a lot of hands-on experience."
While his first-hand knowledge of the industry helps him with customers, he also says the industry has changed. "We used to do drawings by hand," he said. "Now it's all computer-design work. Design software and technology really helps to get the customer on board with the design."
Kathie McConnell
Listening skills are very important to her and as a result, Kathie spends a great deal of time doing just that. "I like to turn a customer's dreams into reality," she said. Even though she has been with CabinetCraft for a short period of time, Kathie brings more than 27 years of experience in dealing with people.
"I've designed hundreds of kitchens - from the low-end to the high-end," she said. "But in everything you do, I believe that you need a certain level of detail, and unless you listen to your customer well, you won't be able to help them."
